③ Domestic film

The film thickness is generally between 0.1-0.3 mm. Generally, the thickness of the base material of well-known brands is between 0.1-0.2 mm.

The thicker the board, the wider the visual effect, but it is not the thicker the better. More than 0.6 mm is enough. Generally, the thickness of the film-coated board of well-known brands is about 0.7 mm. The easiest way to judge the thickness is to pick it up and shake it to see if the board is tough. Some merchants say that their boards are thick, but vibrate when shaken; although some boards can be thick, a large proportion is the thickness of the film they cover. The thickness of the coating can be observed from the notch of the gusset. However, the accurate thickness must be measured with a caliper, and the error of visual inspection or hand feeling is large.
